H. L. (Harry) Pohlman
Executive Director
H. L. Pohlman holds the A. Lee Fritschler Chair in Public Policy and is currently the Executive Director of the Clarke Forum for Contemporary Issues at Dickinson College. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University in 1982. His areas of research specialization include American constitutional law and political and legal thought. He received a Fulbright Distinguished Lecturing Award to the United Kingdom for the fall semester 1998. From September 1996 to September 1998, he was a Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. He also served as director of the Dickinson College K. Robert Nilsson Center for European Studies in Bologna, Italy during the 1993-1994 academic year.

Jolana Rankin
Program Manager
Jolie oversees Clarke Forum operations, is responsible for faculty, student, staff and community events, manages the student board, teaches and supervises student staff members in public speaking and writing. She also manages the Metzger-Conway Program, which brings distinguished alumni back to the college to lecture in classes and give a public lecture. Jolie has been with the Clarke Forum for eleven years. She has a B.A. in speech communication from Shippensburg University.

Kim Flinchbaugh
Operations Coordinator
Kim assists the executive director in all the internal operations of the Forum, which include supervising the student project managers, developing publicity/marketing for all CF programming, maintaining the CF’s website, and managing the CF’s budget and the Common Hour schedule and website. Kim has been with the Forum for five years.
She has a B.S. in business management from Shippensburg University.
